Fashion is back in town! The legendary Milan Fashion Week took place from September 20 to September 25 and was once again a rich edition of surprises and an anticipated debut for a few brands, including Prada, Gucci, Versace, Armani, and Fendi.
Italians are very serious when it comes to fashion. Being exceptionally luxurious and elegant, they truly know their game. High craftsmanship and unique, eye-catching apparels are their signatures. Milan Fashion Week is that time of the year, when the entire global fashion community’s eyes are on Milano’s streets and runways, and they never fail to amaze us.
Last year, MFW included four major trends. Extra long scarves, puffy sleeves, standout gloves, and of course the much loved furry stripes. Who knows what this year has in store for us? Just like 2016, this year’s Milan fashion week is already proving to be every bit as eye-pleasing for us fur lovers, only two days in.
Starting with a throwback to last year’s MFW we’ll go through the best of the best. First up, the actual show. Major designers like Fendi – with those beautiful stripes – always coming up with statement pieces, Gucci with vibrantly colored monochromatic fur coats, and Moschino with the classic eccentric twist stole our hearts. Next up we chose to present you with the best street styles of MFW 2016, which not to our surprise, also featured stripes and vibrant colors.

Moving on to 2017, we must say, we absolutely loved Fendi’s once again unique and stunning pieces that featured a new intricate pattern and were mostly colored in more earthy hues this year with the exception of one fur coat that was colored a deep vibrant blue. Moschino was even better this year, choosing palettes of browns, greys, and black. Our favorite pieces were worn by celebrities Kendall Jenner and the Hadid sisters, that also appeared on the runway for other major designers like Fendi, Gucci, Max Mara, and Alberta Ferretti. To finish off our collection of highlights so far, we chose some of the best street styles of 2017.
