Haute Couture fashion week has begun and it is time to remind ourselves what this week is all about. Over the past few seasons, there have been so many new additions to the elite category that appears next to the long-revered names we have come to know. Some designers have proven their mettle and expertise with high craftsmanship and creativity and others maybe not so much. Either way, Haute Couture Fashion week is an exciting event and the last of the four fall-winter fashion weeks. Stay tuned as we track the best runway looks from the top collections. See the outstanding styles for Fall 2017 from Saint Laurent to Chanel and everything in between. Let’s go through our collection of favorites so far.
Till now, Paris Fashion Week has not lived up to our high, fur-loving standards. Balmain is probably the most impressive collection so far. More than 80 outfits were eye-catching, unique, and delightfully eccentric. But fur outfits were disappointingly, nowhere to be seen. Other designers did include one or two fur outfits in their collection but still, there were not as many as we expected of a fall-winter fashion week. What little did exist, though, was eloquently splendid. Worth mentioning was the work of Aalto, Y/Project, Dries Van Noten, Off White, and especially of Ann Demeulemeester that came up with pieces that were as fairy-made.
In our collection of fur outfits, we also included some beautiful street-style fur outfits that were spotted in the streets of magical Paris during the last couple of days. Mostly in grey hues, they do a very good job reminding us that winter is still here and we should enjoy it while it lasts.
Paris Fashion Week still has several days and numerous designers –other major and others still rising- to come, so bear with us as we go through them, in search of amazing fur outfits.
Final Thoughts on Paris Fashion Week Fur Highlights

From delicate runway statements to effortlessly styled street looks, fur proved once again that it doesn’t need to dominate the catwalk to leave a lasting impression. As the week continues to unfold, anticipation only grows for the next standout moments. For those inspired by the elegance seen in Paris and looking to translate it into everyday style, discovering timeless Real fur coats is the perfect way to bring haute fashion into real life.
