kate moss in absolutely fabulous

Absolutely Fabulous is back and Joanna Lumley just made a huge revelation about her character.

Do you remember Absolutely Fabulous? It was a series of ’90s created by Jennifers Saunders. The series features Saunders as Edina Monsoon, a heavy-drinking, drug-abusing PR agent who is chasing bizarre fads in a desperate attempt to stay young. Edina is joined in her quest by magazine editor Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley), her best friend and enabler. The series became a cult in and outside the UK with numerous in-jokes and heavy doses of cruel humor. Now the London fashionistas are back with a bang as the first full-length trailer for Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie is unveiled and it’s jam-packed with A-listers. Jennifer and Joanna are joined by a host of fabulous names, as the pursuit of their style idol Kate Moss ends in a soggy disaster. Joanna Lumley speaking to V magazine revealed that her alter-ego character Patsy Stone is transgender. She said: ‘You go back and pick through it, the number of gay references and ease with which it’s been put into the story, without it being dragged along like a great log of the plot. ‘It’s completely normal that Patsy is transgender.’ Patsy’s gender has often been a talking point on the show. Eddy once refers to a time in 1971 when she went to Morocco and underwent a sex change operation. Implying that she did in fact start life as a woman, she said she briefly lived life as a man, but ‘her penis fell off.’ The movie is coming to cinemas on the first of July in the UK and you are going to see some of the biggest fashion stars, like Kate Moss, Stella McCartney, and Jean Paul Gaultier, staring in the film version. The movie besides the judgemental humor is also full of chic moments and furry ”notes”. You can watch the new trailer here.

red fur in Guys' Choice Awards

Andra Day In Red Fur At Guys’ Choice Awards

Andra Day ruled the red carpet this Saturday in Guy’s Choice Awards as she wore a silky jumpsuit and completed her outfit with a warm red fur jacket. This is not the first time that we saw Andra Day in a furry outfit. In fact, this February on Grammy’s red carpet the rising up singer wore an Adrienne Landau fur that was custom designed, a jumpsuit that was also custom made by Julie Mollo, and white furry high heels. It seems that she loves the jumpsuit-fur combination!! For the record, The Spike Guy’s Choice Awards (formerly Guy’s Choice Awards and Spike’s Guy’s Choice Awards) is an award show produced by the Viacom cable channel Spike and held since 2007. The winners were originally chosen based on voting by fans and viewers of the channel until the show started presenting the honorees in 2015 in addition to changing its name to Spike’s Guy’s Choice. We also saw Gigi Hadid steal the spotlights with her long legs in a see-through mini dress, and Chrissy Teigen let it all hang out in a plunging tuxedo like a true two-month mother.

fendi most expensive fur coat

The Most Expensive Fur Coat Ever Made

real-shearling-coat   In 2015 Karl Lagerfeld celebrated his 50 years of designing for Fendi . An absolutely brilliant Haute Couture show (for the record it was dubbed by him ”Haute Furroure”) and exposed his extravagant creations on the catwalk. In this show, we saw 36 brilliant fur pieces made from pure luxury materials, among them mink, chinchilla, and sable fur. Betwixt the 36 fur designs, the talented designer also featured one of the most expensive clothing ever made, a full-length sable fur coat that cost 1.000.000 Euros! (On your left). So why does this fur coat cost so much? According to The independent, every single follicle on this floor-length sable overcoat is coated in pure silver. “Giving a unique and contemporary luminous metallic effect to the fur while maintaining its softness. That’s the first reason. Lagerfeld told that he can no longer make as many sable coats as he would like because of changes to the fur industry. Meaning he has had to invent techniques to counteract that, which definitely adds further cost to the creation. “I remember 30 years ago, we made a finale with 20 sable coats,” he told WWD. “If you want to do that today, you’re lucky! If you can make one or two because most of the animals are not hunted anymore. It’s quite difficult to do high fashion because everything made in the past hardly exists anymore. We have to invent unbelievable techniques and mix them with feathers because the world has changed. We are not in the Eighties anymore.” ”This sable has such a special energy and mystery in addition to being so light and warm and sexy that it is no wonder that a century ago there was a law that only the czar and his family could wear this sable,” said Helen Yarmak about the sables that live in the Barguzin region. Sables are little Russian natives that resemble ferrets, and because of how soft their fur is, it has been utilized for ages (Henry VIII was a fan). The sable is a cousin of mink,  but its fur surpasses all others in silky density and luminous colors. A carnivore of northern countries, the sable feeds on mice and even squirrels and prefers to hunt at night. The most exquisite sable specimens are still in Russia. The sable as an animal may be a cousin of mink and looks like a mink but when we talk about coats the semblance of a sable coat is similar to a fox fur coat, as it is almost as fluffy as a fox fur but more elegant, with higher density and softer! One single pelt can cost from 150 to 350 USD, and 50-60 sables are required to make one full-length coat! Therefore, the quantity required is what drives up the price.   Now, 4 years later from this enormous creation of Karl Lagerfeld, the sable coat remains the most expensive fur coat ever made!  Karl has passed on this February          ( 2019 )we would like to honor his memory with this article!   Have a look at our premium fur selection! Can You Find The Real Fur?

So in the first part, we have Naomi Campell, the ”Gazelle”. She’s one of the ultimate party girls. And Naomi Campbell didn’t let her 46th birthday slip by quietly as she threw an epic bash to celebrate with her a-list pals. The model, still looking remarkably ageless, rang in another year in serious style on Monday night, joining family and friends at PHD Rooftop Lounge, New York. On the other side, we have Rihanna or ”RiRi”. While we can always expect Rihanna to shut it down on stage, the singer traded in her usual bad gal antics for a powerful stripped-down performance at the Billboard Music Awards on Tuesday night. Rihanna steps out in a gorgeous vintage look at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards held at the T-Mobile Arena on Sunday (May 22) in Las Vegas, wearing a fox fur collar. So the moment of truth.. Rihanna’s green fur is real fur, while Naomi’s shawl is faux. The conclusion is that RiRi never let us down!!
